After building, drifting and pissing off the majority of the Internet (not that he cared) with his Team Burst inspired S13, this is Mike’s latest creation that he brought to the drift day at Three Sisters yesterday.
He bought this Stagea with a pretty poorly RB lump fitted, so decided to anger even more members of the Internet police (says the guy sat here writing this post wearing a V8illuminati top, oh the irony) by fitting a Lexus 1UZ into the rather cavernous engine bay.
A weight of over 1600kg, minimal lock modifications and a track that felt like an ice rink in places hardly made for the best testing of the C34 but it was certainly entertaining to watch Mike manhandle it with the V8 burbling away.
I can’t say I’m a massive fan of the hydro or its placement but everything inside was pretty cool. I can’t think of a much better car to drive to the track loaded with tyres and tools, have a good thrash and then drive home with space to spare.
