I’ve been so busy driving my C33 recently that I’d forgotten to post any proper photos of it on here! While I was letting the oil drain out of my emergency back-up car last night I grabbed my camera and took a few shots in the rain (I figured rain would be the best way to hide the fact that I haven’t washed it for a couple of weeks).
I recently swapped out my previous wheels for these URAS NS01s that you see pictured. My friend Dan Brown had them up for sale and I couldn’t resist getting my hands on them, purely because they’d match my chrome door handles and trim so well!
They measure 17×9+30 and 17×9.5+15 with 215/40/17 tyres all round. I had to fit a 25mm spacer to the fronts in order for them to clear the coilovers, although I feel this has now given too much poke (even though the tyre doesn’t catch the bodywork and I’m not running more than roughly 4 degrees camber). I’ll probably try 15 or 20mm spacers next, although on full lock this will probably cause the wheels to hit the tension rods and inner-arch areas. The joys of running big lock with unflared standard front wings and standard lower arms, although I don’t plan on changing either of these anytime soon.
I’ve already got my eyes on my next set of wheels though, which of course will be joined by a set of 326Power wheel nuts from the STL store. Now I’ve just got to decide what colour combination I want to go for…
While I was at it, I snapped a few interior shots too. I could definitely do with giving the leather some cleaning attention.
