If you remember my post from the other month covering Joe Ankers’ VG30DETT powered S14, Joe was experiencing yet more issues with the troublesome VG and planned on removing it in favour of his old Red Top SR20 taken from his PS13.

Joe and the guys from Race Day Developments got the car ready in time for Round 4 of the BDC at Lydden Hill which is where I snapped these quick shots. He seemed immediately at home with the car and, had it not been for a mis-shift in his Top 32 battle, would have progressed further in the competition.

Cameo appearance from BDC chief Mark “Sweeps” Buckle in the above photo – I don’t think I’ve ever seen a wrist bend like that before.
